Newborn Session Info
Newborn days are some of the most fleeting moments in our lifetime. These little babies change in a blink of an eye. You bring home an itty bitty angel nestled in your arms. They grow so fast that we quickly forget how tiny they really were. I often photograph new babies cuddled in parents’ arms or curled up in little baskets to show their actual size in comparison. So you remember when their head fit in the palm of your hand. During newborn sessions, I strive to record the raw emotion of meeting the baby you’ve waited for. The eternal bond you share. I also want to record a little piece of history for you and your child, their first home, first bed, first moments.
For our clients’ comfort and convenience, newborn sessions are held in the privacy of their home. I bring an assortment of props and use the natural light available from windows. I realize new moms and dads are often in the sleep-deprived, over-tired yet also over-joyed state so I always strive for our sessions to be low key and easy on the parents.
