SESSION
- Can you come to our house for the session?
Yes! We do offer sessions in clients’ homes at no additional charge, as long as it’s within 15 minutes of Madison. A small travel fee will apply to places more out of town. Our newborn sessions are always held in homes for the convenience and privacy. - Where are you located?
Our studio is at 203 S. Paterson St, Suite 300, Madison, WI. Please call prior to stopping by. Since we photograph on-location a lot, we offer studio hour by appointment only. - Can the parents be included in children or newborn sessions?
Yes. Parents can be included (at no additional charge) in sessions. - Can siblings be included in a newborn session?
Yes. We always try to include immediate family in a few portraits during our newborn sessions (no additional charge). - What about the weather? Do we cancel in case of rain or clouds?
We love sunshine, we love clouds, we even like rain (rainboots and umbrellas come in fun colors!). Be it overcast, cloudy, breezy or sunny, we can most likely work around the weather. If you’re not sure if the weather is good enough, feel free to give us a call. We can always make plans for alternate locations such as our studio or your home. - My child is not feeling well right before the session, should I cancel?
The goal is to photograph children being themselves. If your child is not feeling well and not being themselves, we recommend rescheduling the session. Please contact us as soon as you know you need to reschedule. Sessions can be rescheduled at no charge within 90 days (if proper notice was provided). - Can Grandma/someone else come along?
Unless they’re going to be in the family portraits, we’d like to limit the observers to parents /those who will be photographed. Some kids get easily overstimulated when being called by many people at once. - Can I bring my dog?
Please tell us about any pets in the Session Planner you’ll fill out. We can have an outdoor session where pets are allowed or on your property. Currently, no pets are allowed in our studio per lease.
PRICES AND PRODUCTS
- Do you offer Gift Certificates?
Yes, we offer Gift Certificates in the amount of $200 and we recommend adding a Story Board for or the Digital Keepsake (all digital files) so that the recipient can enjoy products as well. Please use the “Inquiry” tab to receive link to online purchase of Gift Certificates. - When do I pay the Session Fee?
The Session Fee reserves your date and it’s payable when you book your session. You can pay online immediately or mail us a check (in which case we’ll wait 5 business days for it). - What does the Session Fee include?
Session Fee covers your custom photography session that lats approximately 1-1.5 hours. Session Fee is the same for both indoor and outdoor sessions. It includes travel within Madison.
Session Fee is charged for our time and work to provide you with the custom experience and quality products.
It does NOT include any prints or products. - What do you charge for an 8×10″?
Please review our abbreviated Product Guide for current pricing. - Do you offer digital image files?
Yes. We offer digital images for personal printing and archiving. You can choose your favorite images as digital files on a disc (minimum of 10) or pick our Keepsake Disc which includes all digital images from your session printable up. - What form of payment do you offer?,
We offer all forms of payment from major credit/debit cards, PayPal, checks or cash.
