Happy and safe Thanksgiving!

I hope you all have a wonderful time celebrating and if you have to drive, have a safe trip. We had some snow here in Madison last night, just enough to cover the grass. It looked all white when we looked outside the window this morning. Very pretty.

This year has been so great to us. I’m thankful for so many people in my life, and for so many good things happening to us.

Big thank you to all the people I got the pleasure to photograph this year. I deeply appreciate that you chose Funky Monkey Photography to capture your story. I’m thankful for meeting you and your families. I’m thankful that you have helped my dream come true: to pursue photography professionally, to capture stories of people with my camera and my heart.

Just like all parents, I’m thankful for the true blessing in our lives: our child. This will be her first Thanksgiving dinner she gets to eat. Last year she had baby food and some mashed potatoes. It’s exciting to share the family traditions with her.
