All of our cards are custom made for each client, which means you get to personalize and customize your card. Our holiday cards are press printed on high end linen paper. They are not your average photo greeting card. The flat cards are printed on both sides and can feature up to 2 images. The folded cards feature front cover, inside and back design with up to 3 images. Both come in 5×7″ or square 5×5″ formats. Our most exclusive cards are tri-fold, with 6 customizable pages and up to 5 images. Our tri-fold cards have a real “WOW” effect. We enjoyed the very last moments of fall in the Waunakee Village Park last weekend. Going from 70s to 30s can be tough, and it makes me especially sad to loose the wonderful fall colors. These guys were troopers despite somewhat windy conditions that blew their hair around on the bridge.
Going forward, we’ll be doing mostly indoor sessions, in your home for newborns and in our studio for all other sessions. Our studio also offers some urban outdoor scenes, and if it’s nice enough we can include those in our studio sessions. Our studio is in Madison, close to downtown, conveniently located in the middle of Madison for easy access from all sides of town and outside.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by to support Operation Smile and show off their adorable kids this weekend. I’ll write another post about our little Halloween event. For now, how’s this little pumpkin? Isn’t she beautiful? I’ve had the privilege of photographing her when she was in her mommy’s belly, then newborn and now at 6 months. She has perfectly round eyes and cheeks, what a little sweetie.

Only 3 more days left to our Costume Portrait Party! We are busy decorating for a spooky, yet-not-too-spooky so it’s baby and toddler friendly, Halloween at our studio!
Questions was emailed to me if appointments are needed for the portraits. The answer is: NO!
No appointment needed to get your children’s portraits taken! Just come anytime between 12-4pm.

This year October had so many beautiful fall days, I’ve been really enjoying fall. When our front trees shed their yellow coat of leaves, our front yard is covered with a golden blanket. My daughter loves the feel and sound of running through dried leaves. Our favorite game has been chase, mostly because it makes her giggle like crazy, and also because it’s good exercise. Photographing a running toddler sure is a challenge, but always worth it.
Time is….. running out on fall portraits in Madison! This last week of October may be the last nice week for outdoor portraits. We only have 2 spots open in October: Tuesday 10/28 & Wednesday 10/29. Now booking into November. We offer both studio and on-location photography. For newborns, we offer photography in your home (if within Dane County, locations subject to approval from the photographer).

Only a few days/ spots left to create those special fall portrait sessions!
We had an awesome playdate with this little man, Mr. “L”, whom I’ve photographed since before he was born! He was my very first newborn. Look at him now, 2 years old! Gorgeous blues, shiny blond hair and a shiny personality to match. He’s in LOVE with trains, trucks, buses, cars, machines. He was mesmerized by all the trucks and buses that drive by our studio. Thanks to his mommy for bringing him over to play!

I love it that I was able to find portraits of this Little Man showing one of the cute faces that he makes. How he changed, from a baby to a boy, yet his sweet lips form into the same pose.

What’s sweeter than a cotton candy (my favorite candy btw)– this adorable little girl. 6-month-olds are always so good to me. Most can already sit up but not yet ready to run away.
Thank you to her mommy for bringing her in today! What a treat for me.

She’s heeeere!!! Fresh out of the oven! Only one day old, beautiful K looks JUST like her daddy. So everyone says. Down to the dimple in her chin, nose, blue eyes and straight black hair. But she’s a cute girly girl just like her mommy. She’s one lucky baby, loved by so many, first born and first grandchild. See you for your newborn portraits soon. Here are a few from hospital.
