So you may have seen these googly eyes around this blog before. He’s our new puppy. We were walking him last week in public and he got a lot of attention, everyone asked about his name and breed. Our preschooler quickly learned to say:
4-year-old: “His name is Mojo. He’s a Pug and a Boston Terrier. He’s a Bugg.”
After which people turn to me for verification, even though they could probably understand what she said. Most haven’t heard of a “Bugg” before.
Then she watched a movie about Chihuahuas and decided that both our cat and the dog were Chihuahuas. Maybe she was tired of the quizzical looks. She started announcing on our walks that:
“His name is Mojo and I call him Chihuahua.”
Hmmm… More quizzical looks followed. I wonder what he’ll be next week.
