We’re very happy to announce that the original fundraiser goal was blown away and the total sum collected for Operation Smile from Oompa Toys Middleton store mini-sessions was $1,300!
This sum translates into 5 life-changing surgeries for children. From Operation Smile website:
Not only is cleft palate/lip an aesthetic issue, but a health issue, as well. Children born with a cleft palate are at a greater risk for ear and mouth infections, and usually have extreme difficulties eating and speaking. Repairing a cleft palate can take as little as 45 minutes, and can cost no more that $240.
